Actuators/motors in humanoid robots are essential for success. They are responsible for all aspects regarding movement; strength of movement, repeatability and accuracy. However, by improving the mechanical joints, power delivery, aiding parts like springs and ball bearings we can improve motion. Nevertheless motors are the most essential improvement to aid better movement.
